WHAT IS PROTRUSION
Understanding
protruding mouth
A protruding mouth refers to a condition where the mouth protrudes forward compared to the tip of the nose or chin when viewed from the side. Most cases are caused by genetic factors, though environmental factors such as bad habits can also contribute.
Environmental factors can mostly be treated with orthodontics alone. Even cases diagnosed for surgical correction due to genetic factors can be treated with non-surgical correction at Eins Dental, unless the condition is severe.
